did anyone cry
during this movie did anyone cry
shareThe music playing during Cleo's death...oh man it tears me up.
shareI was sad a couple of scenes before Cleo's death (when T.T. died), but I was able to fight off the tears.. But, from the point when Cleo dies to the end of the movie, I was balling my eyes out. As I said in a prior post, my sister and I left the movie theatre sobbing.. It was crazy!! Powerful film!! One of the best ever!!

You're so fat, the back of your neck looks like a pack of hotdogs
I'm a male and the 1st to admit I cried my azz off when Cleo and TT got killed and when Stony had those flashback memories.
sharethe flash backs were one of the saddest parts
shareI reall y cried the first time and always i watch it even when i just remeber the film in my mind some drops of tears just roll out especially that of Cleos death i feel it is the music and the longness of that part of the film that really made that place feel crying and pitious. My sister was even laughing at me that why should i cry after watching the film for once
sharewhen cleo died and they had that music playing, i lost it. it was over for me. i cried as if it were my mother or something!
shareOhh man,
I cried so hard that i cant watch it anymore, but i love this movie.
I cried of course when Cleo, Ti Ti died, especially at the beginning of
movie, the Bank robbery part when that Thug had shot that nice white woman in her face while she was a great customer, it tears me apart at most. She reminded me of my old teachers.
i can't even watch this movie anymore...i watch it up to the point wher T.T. dies...it's just too depressing. first time i watched...i wished someone would have warned me because...i cried as if my momma had died!
shareI completely understand you, anniemarrow86.. In fact, I wrote the same think a few posts ahead of you..

Yesssssss!!! I DON'T and REFUSE to watch that movie because I would cry ALLL through the end part. Especially when they play that song 'Missing You' by Brandy, Chaka Khan and Tamia because I had lost my sister when I was 7 and that part when it say, "You were my sister, my strength and my pride only god may know why, still I would get by" I cry like hell. Just thinking about that part make my eyes watery. My sister, TaNeshia, was my strength snd my pride because we was sooo close. My sister was only 9 when she got killed and man its hard for me. I remember she used to chase me around the house outside and we used to sneak cookies all the time... ooohh its hard. We used to throw snowballs on each other every winter. We used to dress alike. I miss my sister sooo much ya'll. I don't know if ya'll feel my pain but its not a good feeling. I have to come home everyday and see pics of my sister knowing she not here. I miss my TaNeshia. I miss my baby, my heart, my soul...I miss my sister. She was everything to me. She was a good big sister!!! Oooh I miss TaNeshia LaChae Wright. Rest In Peace Big Sister. Oh hell yes. First when TT died, that broke my heart. Kimberly Elise is one of my favorite actresses, so I am biased a bit there, but it WAS sad. Then Cleo went down firing, then Stony watching Frankie get gunned down. Jada is such a great actress, she can really evoke emotion from her reactions alone. Same as Vivica and Queen Latifah; so damn good in this movie. Gah now I'm tearing up just thinking about that movie.

I didnt cry but I felt moved, Like I was watching some real ppl I know go down and get killed. Gary Gray did a good job by connecting us with the characters, to the point that wee would cry or in my case feel like crying at the end of this movie. However, really didnt feel that when TT died I started to feel it when cleo went out lke a stright G. And when they killed frankie some of that emotion was still there, and how she was acting when she asked the cop what do you do when a gun is in your face. That was powerful, It was a cry for help. That sceen right there was symbolic to me as the black man/womans struggle.

I have been searching for the name of that song! I love it, and that was honestly the saddest part in any movie I have ever seen. And yes, I watched it when I was drunk... and teared up a bit... lol
