It's better if you don't know it's a vampire movie

When I watched I thought it was a pulp fiction type movie. I didn't know it had anything to do with vampires so when that happened it blew my mind. If I had known it would have taken away so much. Is there anybody else like me who didn't know it was a vampire movie when you watched it?

So hard to watch it now without knowing. Even the IMDB description tells you right away that it is a vampire movie. My title is a spoiler in itself but I don't feel guilty about it because it is already given away everywhere else.

Just watched it for the first time knowing, and while it robs of of what would have been a major WTF moment, I think it was for the best. I went in with my expectations of getting a campy b-horror/comedy and was satisfied with what I got. Because the movie does go from really interesting to pretty damn goofy, but I accepted the goof and enjoyed the movie since I was ready to have fun.

I saw the movie as a teenager in 1996, so ofcourse I knew. The trailers and TV spots at that time in the mid 90s gave everything away. When you were watching the movie, you were waiting for the vampires. Though I think, even just by the title "From Dusk till Dawn" is a pretty big clue that there are either vampires or zombies of some kind in this movie.

The only way I would be thrown off is I didn't know the title of the movie, never saw the trailers and just caught it right after the opening credits one night on cable. But back in the 90s we all knew.

I didn't know much about it when my husband brought it home and popped it in the machine..... about the year, 2000.... I really hadn't heard of it.
I was AMAZED at the twist! 

It just struck me as I wrote this... The bar is the Titty Twister. It's just about that time when the story takes a twist!

I doubt if it would have made much of a difference if I'd known in advance that this film had anything to do with vampires. I like that stuff. I experienced the WTF moment and enjoyed it to the end.

Just watched it again about an hour ago. Great fun!
