Toy Story 3- the best out of the 3?

Hey guys,
I just wanted to see if everyone unanimously thought TS3 was the best.

To me it was very close between TS3 and TS1. Don't get me wrong. All 3 were amazing cinematic achievements that will be treasured by kids for years on end.

Toy Story 2 was probably the weakest out of the 3 for me, but in no shape or form bad. It had the peril(to a lesser extent than 3), the adventure, the thoughts and contemplation of the future( A toy's fate), and of course the characters. The only thing it seemed to lack was the emotion like the first and the third one had. Probably the most touching scene was the flashback with Emily and Jessie. Overall, the characters still grew and developed as well as the story.

To me, the essence of Toy Story was always TS 1. The bond between Woody and Buzz is hands down explored the most in this one as well as the thought of being replaced. Great story, introduced all of the great characters with thier own personalities, amazing music, and adventure(peril). I think this one had the most chracter developement out of the 3; particularly with Buzz and Woody towards the end. It was ground breaking for its time, not only for the technical acheivements, but for such a unique concept that was so unique that would have been awesome even if done by traditional Disney animation (non-cg).

Toy Story 3- I don't think I have to go into much detail on this board of why this one so great becasue everyone on here has done that already. The most heartfelt and emotional of the 3, the most clever and complex story of the 3, characters are put into struggle (most perilous of the 3) and you actually feel and care what happens to each of them. 1. Incinerator scene- enough said and 2. the end was probably one of the best conclusions in the history of trilogies.

Its still hard for me to say which one is the best, but when I think toy story, I always think TS 1. TS 3 is definitely up there, but I guess we will see how it fares the test of time because TS 1 passes it with flying colors.

Just interested to see how people feel on this...

Toy Story 3 is the best Toy Story film! Not only is it a very strong story, it's got awesome computer animation - sometimes I even forget it's animated - great voice acting, and the film in general is very meaningful. Toy Story 3 is probably my favorite film, period.

I think that it's definitely the best of the three.

Supermodels...spoiled stupid little stick figures mit poofy lips who sink only about zemselves.

Still the first one for sure, it's a classic. The third was really good, but not above 1. The first one just had the original story of what it would be like if toys were actually real and the adventures of even simple things would be like.

This is a bad joke. Toy Story 3 was easily the worst of the three. The writing and story were lame and totally unnecessary. The ending was botched, becoming overly sentimental and cheesy. What was with Andy's creepy and unnaturally long goodbye to what are just a bunch of toys that he hadn't played with in years? When he got into his car and said to himself "goodbye you guys" I almost facepalmed, how cheesy can you get...It was like they were trying to represent the audience through his actions except it didn't work at all.

Let me tell you why Toy Story 1 was great and why anyone who grew up with it as a kid still thinks it's the best.
It's because of Woody and Buzz being together. That's the heart of these films. Toy Story 2 and 3 are basically missing the heart of what makes the film so good. The writing is also much better than the other 2, which were more juvenile and childish (3rd is the worst offender here, the barbie scenes and Spanish Buzz were cringe worthy).

Anyone with half a brain can tell this was a cash in by Disney. And surprise! Looks like they're thinking about Toy Story 4 now!
The animation was the only good thing about Toy Story 3. It was hyped to all hell and is really just a mediocre film that got too much undeserved praise ala Inception or TDK.

TOY STORY THREE IS NOT EVEN 489357298749187481937483974919938927 MILES NEAR TOY STORY 1'S LEVEL. TOY STORY ONE IS DISNEY'S BEST MOVIE BY FAR, NO COMPETITION. XOXO, TOY STORY NO.1 FAN lol

I feel every one improved on the last (which was hard to do because they were all perfect)

Ever since the third one came out, I cannot decide which one is best.
My favourite one is Toy Story 2
As for the best, it'll probably take me to the day I die to decide.
They are all amazing sets of work.

I thought one was great, but the sequels started to play more fast and lose with the material, which created some plot problems. Three was descent though; better than TS2.

Toy story one was the original without it we wouldn't have the rest so i'd have to go with that, Toy story two doesn't have the emotional capacity of one and 3 which i loved very much because it does bring back memories of how you were when you were a child and how you used to play with your toys especially at the start of toystory one lol i used to do that with my little brother it was hysterical
Toy story 3 was quite sentimental sometimes you keep some old toys and then give them away and it is quite emotional
Toy story two was a fun adventure
I love all of them, but for different reasons, but if i had to choose order i'd go 1
3
2

I love all three nearly equally, but TS3 is my favorite, followed by TS1 and then TS2, but by a very close margin.
