So... does Juliette Lewis ruin this movie for anyone else?
Just curious. Anyone???
shareAs an actress and singer, she was fine. Perhaps a bit too clumsy with the shouting scenes -- they weren't as smoothly acted as a better actress could have managed -- but she didn't come close to ruining the movie for me.
What surprised me the first time I watched it, and surprised me again the last time I watched it, was that I actually found her attractive in this movie. I've never found her attractive in any other movie, but I actually found myself thinking she was quite pretty here. Not sure what's different about her in this movie than any other one, but there you have it.
No. I hated her character but there was nothing wrong with her acting or singing. It doesn't hurt that she has a nice body that she's more than willing to show off.
shareNot all, for me. She plays the archetype of the good girl gone bad, the gangster's moll. What I find interesting about the role is that it is split into two characters - the "before" character that only exists in the tapes that the Nero character experiences, and the "after" character who yells, "I've changed!"
shareAnyone that thinks she can't act needs to watch Kalifornia and Cape Fear, as well as Natural Born Killers. She's also an awesome, magnetic performer as a touring musician. The real deal. No pitch correction or entourage of "handlers". Just sweaty, gritty, no nonsense rock and roll.
She's also "weird hot"! Great, tight little body, world class a$$ and delicious, firm, little boobehz!!
I don't love her.. She kicked me in the face!!
Me also. She ruins every movie shes in, for me.
shareNo, I compliment the casting director, can't think of a better actress for this role, and she played it very well.
shareUgh, ugh, ugh...
Quote from an iMDB user...
Lewis plays the same old white trash girl she has played many times, but at least she has the experience to bring total conviction to the role.
Can't stand her, but it didn't ruin the movie for me...it only would if the character she was playing was supposed to be likable.
