I realize there's nothing funny about Christopher Walken's character, but he cracks me up anyway with his delivery. There are many moments that had me crying from laughter...maybe my sense of humor is a bit off. Mostly it was CW, but also the black guy/shoe shiner. Anyone else get this reaction?
shareThere are definitely parts of this movie and Christopher Walken's performance which are perhaps unintentionally funny to me. I always get a kick out of how ridiculous Walken's hair looks right before he throws Depp off the staircase into the pool below.

Seeing the humor in Walken is completely understandable. Don't get me wrong, the guy has definitely played intimidating villains, but whenever he "WALKENS" it up ("yo, it's crazy!"), it's hard not to laugh at what he's doing; he isn't one of the most impersonated celebrities for no reason! And the shoe shine guy? I get the feeling he was intended to be funny, and he was.
Overall, the movie is thoroughly entertaining and funny at times.

I agree that it's entertaining while also being replete with implausibilities. The most recent one I spotted was the reporter at the end announcing that, "the police are just now arriving" and yet somehow he already knew a major conspiracy was behind the assassination attempt, going as high as involving the husband. Yeah, right. Corny.
