glad Val got away. fk the cops

That ahole detective got lucky aND caught deniros character, but val burned them and got away. Deniro got greedy and should have left waygrowe be, get him another time. He was stupid to let his emotions control him like that. And that dik cop just had to go after him.

reply

Val is a murderer, a robber, a gambler, a horrible father, a cheat on his wife. Why should you be glad he got away?

What's wrong w gambling? HE didn't rob from people only banks. Who did he murder ..? He was a square guy, I liked him. He deserved to get away. When was he cheating on his wife I dont recall that part

reply

Who did he murder? He and his crew murdered several cops and security guards in this film.

Steal from banks. Banks are insured by the FDIC. FDIC is a government agency. Government gets its money from people like you and me paying taxes.

And the other 2 robberies in the film were Van Zandt and the jewelry place. Seems to me that he and his crew would rob from anyone they felt was worth it. Including you.

Robs for a living. To me that's the opposite of a square guy.

In that respect Al is also a murderer. He killed Cherito and Bob.

reply

That is NOT murder, it's justifiable homicide in the line of duty.

CHERITO was the real murderer...how many people did he kill throughout the course of the movie? He was running wild in public with an automatic weapon.

Did you also forget that the cowardly scumbag was using a little girl as a human shield?

reply

Homicide is murder.. You cant say "its not murder" then use a synonym for murder. You could argue it a justified murder, but it was murder nonetheless.

reply

"You could argue it a justified murder, but it was murder nonetheless."
CONTEXT counts and there IS a difference.

reply

yeah but everyone in this movie except cops is an unjustified murderer

reply

Pretty much yeah but then again most of those robbers were portrayed as villains and Waingro for example was downright evil for the many other things HE did especially.

reply

"Homicide is murder."

All murders are homicides, but not all homicides are murders.

"You cant say "its not murder" then use a synonym for murder."

That's like saying that "mammal" is a synonym for "dog." See above.

"You could argue it a justified murder"

There's no such thing. Murder is, by definition, an unjustified, and therefore, an unlawful, form of homicide.

"but it was murder nonetheless."

Wrong. See above.

reply

Cherito was firing a Galil at other police officers and was using a child as a shield--sounds like Al's shoot was 'justifiable homicide'.

Why can't you wretched prey creatures understand that the Universe doesn't owe you anything!?

reply

FDIC shouldn't exist. also government gets its money by creating it out of nothing then loaning it into existence it then stealing it from people(taxation)

Cops are government employees, so they are worthless. Deniro should have won...other than that, amazing flick.

reply

The federal Reserve is a bunch of banks..they aren't the government. They are thieves worse than van Zandt or anyone else in the movie. Val didn't kill for sport. If you do as he says you don't get killed...Cops are dicks for the most part the only people who say otherwise are those who have yet to have any experience w them

reply

"Val didn't kill for sport".

Yes, he killed for money. I'm sure his victim's relatives took great comfort in that.

"If you do as he says you don't get killed".

Why exactly should I do as some ponytailed douchebag says? Is he some kind of authority figure?

Yea when he's holding an assault rifle and tells you what to do ...do it or get shot. Doesn't take an Einstein to figure that out. Obviously your with your diminished capacity that might be HarD to grasp

Then again, they greased that last guard just to leave no witnesses.

Who says the universe owes anyone anything? It's all about having the balls to live the way you want to. Just because you're a coward and live like a sheep, you get all butthurt when people who don't live like in your sheep world actually succeed. Too bad, crime pays. And when you wake up everyday wondering why you're piss poor and never got rich, look in the mirror and there's your answer...a herd animal.

Actually Kritharg's next sentence was in the same vein: "It must be fought for & taken & defended";

It seems you'd make a splendid Kilrathi--remember Kritharg's words of wisdom: "Defend the fleeing meat!"

In your opinion, is there anything morally wrong with walking up to a stranger and killing them for no reason?

The whole Neil thing? Well... that's the way the cookie crumbles. Good for Chris though.

You want something corny? You got it!

reply

Exactly, good for Chris. Those dickks almost got him but his wife was smart enough to give him the signal. Love it when the cops get burned

reply

That's another thing, you would think these idiot cops would be watching her for a signal of some sort. Bunch of dumbasses.

reply

she was pretty sly about it, and they did stop the car and had him checked out, but he had fake ID and had the cash to buy really good fakes, so he burned them.
