Goldeneye vs Licence To Kill

It's a tricky one for me but I'd just about go with LTK.

That's how your brother squealed, when I broke his ****ing neck!

I think Goldeneye, it's got better music and atmosphere.

But LTK and LDL are right up there!

LTK is my favorite Bond film of all time. Low-key and gritty, just like the majority of Fleming's novels.

While not a direct adaptation of the source material, it does a brilliant job of capturing the essence of Ian Fleming.

It's tough for me i like both films but seeing how i got into 007 by watching goldeneye the movie and playing the game. I pick Goldeneye.

I like both films a lot. One of the highlights of License To Kill is Michael Kamen's score and Llewellyn's hilarious turn as Q. It's really really well made. But Brosnan edges out Dalton just that little bit for me.

GE by a long shot. LTK isn't even in the same universe as GE.

GE is one of the best Bond films of all time. While LTK is definitely the worst of the series.

reply

I strongly disagree. LTK is nowhere near the worst unless you like loud and cartoonish Bonds akin to DAD, DAF and Moonraker!

I like both GoldenEye, LTK equally...I even think of Dalton being the same Bond as Dalton except with plastic surgery. Tomorrow Never Dies and Die Another Day can suck it though.

GE is a more formulaic Bond film.
LTK is a totally different type of Bond film.

I love both movies and they are among my favorites, but I like GE slightly better for better production values and more entertaining. That being said, I feel Dalton is a better and more asskicking Bond than Brosnan.

I'd say Goldeneye is a more well rounded movie than LTK as well as boasting much better production values. Still, when it comes to entertainment I find LTK a more enjoyable watch.
