AWWWW, Come ON!!!

This movie is worth WAY more than a 4.7 star rating!

I just can't believe that this film could be rated this low.

This has got to be one of Mel Brook's and Leslie Neilsen's BEST WORK!

This is a comedic MASTERPIECE!!

Be more reasonable you guys!!

I found this to be much more funnier than "History of the World: Part 1"

at least.

Loved the movie really, but never thought it measured up to Young Frankenstein and Blazzing Saddles. Still with Neilson, Korman and Brooks it still is a funny movie and deserves more than the rating it got. Must be a lot of comedy snobs who low balled it.

Well really, the fact he has films that are funnier shouldn't effect this films rating. I mean, if blazing saddles or silent movie are like a 9 or whatever, why should it take away from this one?. If this movie is funny, which it is, then it's funny and should be rated as such, previous films and their rating shouldn't come into it.

I knew it, I'm surrounded by a$$holes

I was disappointed the film could get such a low rating even on this website.

I recently watched the film and it was bad. No wonder Mel Brooks never directed another film afterwards. Though to be fair there was some effort in the film and Leslie Nielson was funny in the film. It was more lesser bad than most parady/spoof films that came out after this.

NO! WIRE!! HANGERS!!! EVER!!!!

One of my favorite comedies, I've seen it so many times that I lost count.
I gave it 10/10.

Agree with the original poster. This deserves to be at least a 7 or an 8.

Maybe it would help if some one actually got the idea to release it on Blu-ray, instead of people having to rely on an old DVD release in poor quality or the HD version which only has been released for streaming.

A Blu-Ray release would be a good idea.
