The villains in The Schumacher Cut are less over the top

Kevin Smith revealed that lines were lines and the campiness were mostly added in post production, a lot of lines were recorded after the film was shot.

Wonder what Two Face sounds like?

Probably more lines that are nothing like the final cut.

I'd like to see that because I always remember this movie being borderline insufferable because of the campy tone and carrey hamming it up.

I feel The Schumacher Cut will feel like a movie than the theatrical cut which was a toy movie.

Strange that they took directors cut away from schumacher. It sounds infinitely better than the theatrical cut.

They obviously feared a repeat of Batman Returns where they gave Burton carte blanche and he churned out the most unblockbuster-like summer movie ever made.

Returns was barely a Batman film at all, it just featured Batman, it was just a Tim Burton movie.

They definitely learnt the wrong lessons from Batman Returns.

The franchise got to the point where they weren't making movies but two hour toy commercials and that's pathetic because if a filmmaker is asked to make a quality film it will appeal to kids and sell toys anyway.
