This show is nowhere to be found

I'm kind of bummed out because I wanted to buy it and stream it somewhere. This is truly the definition of a forgotten show. You can watch it on YouTube but it looks like shit.

reply

Sad, Nikki Cox was gorgeous while on this show.

reply

Unfortunately, Disney owns it and probably wants the show forgotten for it's offensive to weak snowflakes style of humor.

reply

This is 2021. We can retire the term "snowflake."

reply

No we can't, snowflake.

reply

If you're trying to insult me, you need to come up with something more original than that. Hostile, much?

reply

Your attempt to police my freedom of speech made me hostile, snowflake.

reply

You can say whatever you want (that's freedom of speech). So feel free to use some antiquated insult.

reply

Calling everything you don't like "antiquated" isn't going to work on me, snowflake.

reply

Repeating the same overused, trite attempt at an insult doesn't work, either.

reply

^Triggered.

reply

That was a very sad exchange, mostly driven by you. Enjoy your abuse of the concept of Freedom Of Speech while you can.

reply

Go cry about it, snowflake.

reply

YOU CAN SAY SNOWFLAKE ALL YOU WANT...THAT IS YOUR FREEDOM...BUT YOU SOUND LIKE AN ASSHOLE WHEN YOU DO...JUST SAYIN.

reply

I only sound like an asshole to the weak snowflakes. Go cry about it, word nazi.

reply

LOL...WAY TO GO,CHAMP!🏆

reply

I remember liking this show.
Kind of like a married with children knock off.

reply

Ron Leavitt and Arthur Silver, who created this show, had both worked on Married... with Children.

reply

After its fifth and final season, it was re-run in syndication. According to the Wikipedia article about the program, syndication ratings were low and it was dropped after two years. As of 2021, no streaming services have ever offered it. The producers most likely aren't willing to invest in something they don't foresee as being profitable. I will venture a few other guesses as to why this show has disappeared:

• Some people dismissed it as a cheap imitation of Married... with Children. Yes, the two shows had similarities because both were created by Ron Leavitt and Arthur Silver, who had worked on that program. But it had its own brand of humor, which was more surrealistic than that of Married... with Children.
• The show appeared on the (at the time) recently-formed The WB network, which didn't get the big ratings like the other established commercial networks. A lot of viewers who would have enjoyed it may not have been aware of the show. Lack of awareness equals little demand.
• When The WB folded and was replaced by The CW, the episodes probably got consigned to the archives somewhere.

Maybe it will eventually see the light of day, once someone decides some money could be made by releasing it.

reply

Ah, thanks for the well thought out reply Jonathan..I feel a little smarter after reading this.

reply

You're welcome.

reply

this is false u can find this show on the piratebay if u know how to torrent stuff. all seasons have seeders except for season 2 but if u let the torrent run long enough someone will probably come back and seed it for u eventually. i always download everyshow i watch since u never know what kinda of book burning shit will happen in the future. i dont want to libturd pedo in hollyweird telling me what i can or cant watch. it should be illegal to own a show and keep it from the public. once something is released it is part of the public consciousness and it is evil to try to snuff that out

reply

Aren't those tv rips?

reply

idk i never watched this show. is it worth it?

reply

All the tv rips of every episode are on youtube, so no need to torrent. It's worth watching if you like "Married With Children" type shows and it's funnier than every current tv sitcom.

reply

I don't want to download it illegally. I work so I don't have too.

reply

well at least it can be found. many many great shows can't be watched at the moment and some episodes are lost to history. like that one show dave atteal insomniac u can find half of his episodes online but the episode where he stopped at my hometown is lost :(

reply

That's a stupid outlook

reply

I'm never buying anything pirated again after the Spider-Man 90s Cartoon bootleg I bought that only worked a few years and then stopped functioning. Frankly I liked this show too but Disney won't ever release it in any form cause of its content.
