Kraven the Hunter was radically changed into a more interesting character in Spider-Man: The Animated Series, which may inspire his upcoming movie.

I'm sorry but I'd rather have Kraven in a Spider-Man movie. It's no wonder Marvel and Sony have trouble agreeing on a 4th Spider-Man movie when Sony prohibits some of Spider-Man's best villains by making solo movies of said villains.

Agree. It would be so easy to do a. Kraven's last hunt movie; he's an assassin who targets his prey and wears them down mentally for a week before defeating them, and he beats Peter's spirit before burying him alive. He could be really frightening if done right. I actually dislike how TAS made him too much of an antihero ("sErGaY") driven mad by the formula, one of the cartoon's rare missteps.

Agreed.

Sony’s Venomverse or whatever it’s called is terrible and I have zero interest in these villain movies that don’t have Spider-Man. They’re not even really villains as Sony has turned them more into anti-heroes.

If anyone is a gamer though then developer Insomniac did an absolutely badass version of Kraven in Spider-Man 2 on PS5. He’s clearly the best choice of villain for the next Spider-Man film (hopefully in a snow covered New York, that’d be cool.)
