Think hard. The best episode of the entire series was...?

I know there are well over a hundred episodes..It's likely that most of us have not seen them all..but if you could only keep ONE episode and then the series would... I don't know.. fall into a black hole? Which one would it be??

I pick "The Refuge", the episode where a man stumbles to snowbound cabin and is told the world has been hit by a never ending winter. Everyone turns out to be frozen in sleep and Sanford Vallé is the only one aware of this and is controlling them all.

P.S. I would try to steal a copy of "The Haven" as well

Quality of Mercy

It's one of my favorite TV episodes of all time.

Quality of Mercy is great..but the best one is subjective. I always liked "A New Life" about Blind Faith. It's one of my favorites.

Think Like a Dinosaur was just on. It stuck with me the way the aliens were so evil looking but their argument was perfectly scientific and not immoral.

The new edition of The Outer Limits doesn't hold a candle to the classic original. But the best of the new edition would definitely be Think Like a Dinosaur.

The end scene where he turns his back drove the entire plot home

When you grow up you'll learn to spell way with just one "a".

But judging from your last post, that'll take awhile.

Season 5 episode "Tribunal" *Spoiler Alert*
The son of two Holocaust survivors is convinced that a local man is actually a Nazi war criminal, and a time traveler offers to help him prove it. Probably the of of few truly "feel good" endings of this series when it appears that a war criminal will escape justice by fleeing to Argentina the time traveler forces him to put on a prison camp uniform and take him back in time where his past self shoots him and they bring back the his father's daughter before she was to be killed to reunite them. Especially moving was the dedication by the producer is to his father who survived Auschwitz and his wife and daughter who were murdered.

I liked "The Human Operators."

I'd say "Lithia". Who wouldn't want to be the last guy in a world full of women?

reply

IMO "Stasis" is by far the best. i think 2nd would be "The Human Operators"

I think the clip one are much better if you dont know thats what they are, i saw both "Human Trials" and "Better Luck Next Time" without knowing they were showing clips from other episodes.

No offense to the OP,but this is like asking which of our children is our favorite. We love them all for different reasons. We "love" them all, "like" them differently. Any parent will understand. Not to say I had any part of the creation of theses shows but nonetheless, that is how I feel. Obviously, I am coping out on this question! I do enjoy seeing the responses of others though.
