For me, it might sound bad, but I first got into the show when I was flipping around the channels and came across the episode "Ares" from the first season. To be honest the reason it caught my attention was because Cory Everson's character was wearing next to nothing and it caught my attention (as it would any 13 year old boy) I started watching the show because of that reason, but after a couple of episodes I fell in love with the show along with Xena.

Being 7 year old that I was, it was THE show to watch on Saturday night at 9 p.m and then right after that Xena at 10 pm!
shareIt was 1995. My family did not have cable TV at the time. There was basically nothing else on TV and I have very few channels to surf through. I saw Hercules and Xena and was hooked ever since. I don't really remember what the first episode was, but I do remember watching "Wedding of Alcmene" because of the giant serpent and "The Titans".
shareI saw promos when it was syndicated on the U.S. network and assumed it was a live action version of the Disney movie. Coincidentally the first episodes I saw was the Golden hind trilogy which had enough conceidental similarities to the Disney film
