Peak of Arnold's career.... agree?

This has got to be the best movie Arnold has done, the direction by the great Cameron, the script, the music and Curtis has never been so sexy. Acting is not one of Arnold's strong points but here Cameron brought out the best in him.
If someone disagrees then please post which according to you is his best and why.

I think Arnold peak is and will always be Terminator 2, my favourite movie ever. To me, Arnold's golden age starts with Terminator and ends with End of days. In between he only did great movies. Maybe just Yado wasn't that great but it is a classic fantasy film with Morricone's music and Brigitte Nielsen. My favourite Arnold comedy is Kindergarten cop, while I consider Junior a little weak.

It ended way before End of Days. At that time Arnolds career was already in the pits.

His peak was definitely T2. After that he had his first missfire with Last Action Hero. True Lies was a brief return to form, before he did the horrible "Junior". After that Eraser was not a success, Jingle all the way was probably the worst film he ever made and he made failure after failure. T3, despite being a bad movie was the only success he had before he went into politics.

Agree!

True Lies is perfect start to finish a terrific action adventure comedy.

So, none of you has seen Conan, The Barbarian, the seminal film without which there would not have been any subsequent Arnie movies? If you have seen it, you must not think that it’s important.

Not for nothing, I LOVE True Lies. It’s a actually part of the James Bond section of my video library. Bill Paxton: “I’ve got a little bitty dick. It’s pathetic.”

reply

The question is about when Arnold´s career peaked.

reply

Fine. I submit that it peaked and achieved a plateau with Conan, The Barbarian. It is the best fucking movie he ever made.

Clear enough for you?

If if makes you feel better, that plateau extended to and included True Lies.

reply

Yes, I would say 1994 was his peak as a major box office superstar.

This isn't his film however in my opinion anyway...that would probably belong to T2.

I know I'll get laughed at here, I've always enjoyed the 6th day.

reply

The 6th day is underrated.

reply

Completely agree.

Kudos!

Even that hair on the back of your neck freak of a doll was something else.

I always thought it was under estimated film.

reply

For sure. This is peak Arnold. His career was dogshit after this. Early 90s is Arnold just killing it.

reply

I think Arnold isn't getting the respect he deserves by some of the f@gg0ts posting in this thread.

Anybody hating on Arnie ain't got a d!ck.
