You sending The Wolf??

Did The Wolf REALLY need to come help them? I mean.... what exactly did he do?

"Hey guys, you need to clean up the car. Ok, now let's give you a shower. And let's drive the car to a junk yard where Marcellus totally wouldn't have been able to tell you where it is."

Then they act in awe that they got to watch this genius cleaner at work. He really just bossed them around a little bit, all tasks that are pretty obvious.

Like...they wouldn't have been able figure out that they needed to wipe the windows and change clothes on their own?

I think they were a bit overwhelmed by the situation and didn't know where to start to get it done before their window of time closed.

Wolf had experience and connections to take charge in their crisis and give them the confidence they needed that everything was gonna be okay.

I loved this character, how he takes down the notes of the names and situation on his notepad before coming and drives his NSX so crazy, and when he arrives he asks coffee as they stand there stressed out. He had many interesting little things and words of advice.

Wolf would have been great as a stand-alone closed trilogy series of films:

The Wolf: Part I
The Wolf: Part II
The Wolf: Part III

He was the mob "fixer".

he helped them.

reply

He took charge and he knew where to dispose of the body and the car.

He absolutely did, just look at the mental gymnastics he went through both before he got there and when he was assessing the situation. He knew all the questions to ask that in any given situation would draw attention or worse get them arrested by John Q public officer(s). Things like; does it stall, busted taillight, blinkers all work etc.... anyone under that kind of pressure, any normal or even psycho killers would never think of things like that.... not to mention, the blankets.... no whites... dark to mask the car. In those times, seat covers would be absolutely the norm because of the cheap seats and added comfort.

100%, they got out of that jam... because of the wolf!!

It wasn’t being a genius, it was having experience. He knew all the questions to ask and what to do with their answers. He tied up every possible loose end.

The fact that he makes it all look “obvious” is the true genius.
