In what way was Mathilda naive?

In what way was she naive? She just wanted to avenge her brother's death. Tell me in what way she was naive.

She was naive in thinking she, a 12 year old, could become a hit-man like Leon, that she could persuade him to deflower her, that she could rock up to the police station and just take out a senior detective, that telling a hotel receptionist that Leon is her ‘lover’ wouldn’t have consequences, that randomly blasting a gun out of a window of a New York apartment was a good idea.

She was a kid 🤷🏻‍♂️

reply

Very true. So she was unaware of the dangers and she didn't know how the world works. Am I right?

reply

She was naive in the specific ways that I mentioned, but continue your point…

that she could pull off that hairdo

reply

She rocks that hairdo. Her whole style in the film is legendary 🤷🏻‍♂️

reply

She wasn't. The world is full of women like her making men do whatever they want.

In the same way that sad creeps, like the director and fans of this movie, have this absurd fantasy where coquettish pre-teen girls are continually manipulating innocent man-children with their sexuality.
