1)Evil,crooked,vicious hispanic wife
2)Quarrelsome,miser Koreans who never offer free coffee(they even called korean lady a "bitch")
3)Arab looking muslim robbers
4)Cheap,hustling indian-sikh cab driver who never gives you change
5)Nic cage sleeping on the floor because his black friend didn't let him use his couch

but guess what?this movie has two nice,noble,kind characters but they are all white!Does that surprise at all?I mean c'mon....they put nic cage into a multi-racial neighborhood as a guardian angle of all those hispanic,black or asian kids....how wonderful is that!

I believe hollywood has come a long way now and it has reduced using these kind of racial stereotypes but it feels bad to see so many racist indications in an otherwise nice,romantic movie.

Personally, I think you're a troll but on the off-chance that you're just a misguided fool I thought I'd reply. Nic cage is Italian, not white and he's the hero, his black best friend and family are good guys, the Koreans are shown as hard working and kind and the "angel" narrator was black. The scum bag ex was Italian, the nasty boss was white, the lawyers who helped Muriel fleece her husband where white, the honest judge was black, the idiot jurors mostly white, as was the con artist who eventually fleeces Muriel. Hollywood has been guilty of using and perpetuating negative racial stereotypes but this isn't one of them. It shows a multicultural cast in a multitude of different ways.
But people will see what they want to see. You see racism, I see a wonderful work of art with a beautiful message. Have a nice day.

Italian is white.

Also, there are three main characters in this film, the cop, the waitress and the cop's wife. Two of them are angels and one is a nasty bitch. Guess which one is played by the Puerto Rican actress?

But I guess all these ethnic neighbourhoods need is a nice blonde, blue-eyed white girl to brighten their day and show them all how to behave, right?

That's because the lynch mob were ignorant fools. Italians are white. Being of Greek descent and growing up in Australia, the same ridiculous mentality was applied to Italians and Greeks where I grew up. Italians (and Greeks, in my case) are European, therefore they are white. Being called a "wog" (the Australian equivalent of "wop") by morons does not change this fact.

Don't let anyone ever make you feel like you don't deserve what you want.

1: it's not racist if it's true. and baby teeth rosie perez signed on to the role, so blame her for promoting that racism.

2: never happened. watch it again.

3: no comment.

4: she might have had a 50 on her or a 100. and if it was a 20 and was only going a short distance [where the bill would have been less than half of the money she gave him] then she is a moron. and if she did this Charlie lang table for people who can't afford a meal, then she would have known 'keep the change'.

5: whose to say his couch is better than the floor? some couches are not all that much more comfortable than the floor.

The lawyer who fought for muriel and destroyed nicolas cage bank account was caucasian
The Guy who hang out w/ muriel and ran away w/ their money was caucasian
Stanley tucci is italian caucasian
The greedy coffee shop owner is caucasian.

The narrator who works as a photographer and helped them in the end was african american
The cop who helped Nicolas cage have a place to stay was african american

You cherry picked the non-caucasian characters.
You called the thieves as ARAB looking MUSLIM robbers just because they have a beard?

Spot on. This is a perfect example of what's called confirmation bias. You cherry pick the things that support your preconceived notion, and ignore the things that don't.

And in any case, this what happens when you're obsessed with race, and view everything through that lens. Most people just watched a romantic comedy, and never thought to parse it for political correctness and "diversity and inclusion." Thank you OP for contributing to the balkanization of America.
