Love Actually VS Four Weddings and a Funeral
Which do u guys think is better? Both have Hugh Grant in it and Richard Curtis writing. They also have that similar theme to it. Personally I think Love Acutally is better. How about you all?

sharecoincidentally i saw both the movies ,for the first time ,this weekend ,back to back...And i loved both of them..
But 4weddings is much better than love actually...
The problem with Love Actually was that it had too many stories to tell but didn't have the time to finish some of them..
4weddings was able to neatly tie up all the stories it brought up without cutting short any of them...
Comedy was just amazing in 4W....
LOve actually had brilliant romantic stories but as i said earlier, it didnt have a proper end...4W not only had a sweet romantic story, it ended beautifully too..
The only shortfall for 4weddings was a bit of dull phase after the funeral part [just my opinion]...
Huge Grant got better chance to shine in 4W..In LA didnt have much chance to shine..And the smallest seed of an idea can grow,to define..or destroy you
rojagegeo,
I am just trying to imagine watching these two movies back to back. They both have big casts and multiple stories, particularly Love Actually.
You might enjoy it more, watching it on its own. I loved the ending to the Hugh Grant story in LA, and his whole character.... actually..... . The dancing scene is really something.
"great minds think differently"
Love both. Don't see them as similar. Four Weddings has the edge.

Just saw both again tonight. Don't know how many time I have seen each but certainly more than 3 each. Both are very very entertaining and I never get tired of seeing either. Due to the fact that Love Actually is probably the most uplifting of the two I give the nod to Love Actually.
shareMy vote is for Four Weddings. I've seen it dozens of times and can recite most of the dialogue by heart. I saw Love Actually once. And, I have no interest in seeing it ever again.
shareI never saw Love Actually. I remember seeing the trailer and thinking it looked really twee and cloying, like a comfort food movie. Perhaps I should have a look.

Perhaps I should have a look.I took it in the spirit in which it was intended, and I actually enjoyed it. I would never watch it again. share
Notting Hill, actually.
