It's essentially the more successful version of James Cameron's Avatar. Both were giant monster hits that blew us all away with their state-of-the-art VFX and unmitigated emotional storytelling, yet are also deeply flawed and rather simplistic if you really sit down and analyze it. It's just that this one took longer for people to see through for its flaws than Avatar.

I feel like everything written here is kind of crazy and is the complete and utter definition of having way too much free time on your hands to think so hard about this movie. Like what you wrote here just feels like a crazy person trying to sound like he's smarter than most everyone in the world. share
