All movie franchises die within the 3rd movie
do you agree with me on this film. When did you ever see a quality film and it's the 3rd part of the movie series?

shareThe Enforcer, Rocky III, and Army of Darkness are also prime examples of excellent third entries of a franchise. Of course, it's all relative anyway.
shareGOULLIES 3 is well respected as a sequel
you do not punish someone for having big boobs!
National lampoons christmas vacation was a good 3rd movie
shareReturn of the King was the best of the LOTR trilogy.
shareI appreciate a lot of "Part 3s" that are universally hated. I mostly like them for going places that the previous 2 installments didn't. Some examples of Part 3s that I really genuinely like are:
Beverly Hills Cop III
The Karate Kid Part III
The Hangover Part III
(These three all seem to have in common a darker tone than their predecessors)
On another note, Toy Story 3 and Dream Warriors are examples of Part 3s that I think are better than their predecessors!
No. Halloween 3 Season of the Witch and Terminator Rise of the Machines are 2 examples of the best entry was the 3rd one
shareReturn of the Jedi wasn't bad (bitching about Ewoks notwithstanding). Revenge of the Sith is considered the best prequel film. Star Trek III: The Search for Spock was a success. The Last Crusade was also great (better than the two newer Indiana Jones films).
shareSo far this is the only comment I can agree with. Somebody earlier tried to argue for Godfather III??
