Both ladies are amongst my favourite lead performances ever, and while I do prefer Watts by a small margin, I do love what Binoche managed to achieve on a subtle level. Watts, going for the opposite approach, is no less devastating and heartbreaking to me, even if the writing and editing of 21 Grams don't always play to her strengths.
And that's how Tom Ripley created and defeated Two-Face
