Tombstone or 3:10 to Yuma.....
Tombstone.....7.8
3:10......7.7
I think Tombstone is leaps and bounds above 3:10. Can't beat Val acting in his "prime."

Tombstone and it's not even close....
shareI like Tombstone because of the history behind the event; the movie actually inspired me to visit the actual town in Arizona and read about it's origins. I give it a small edge over 3:10.
What nonsense is this? You can't beat Glenn Ford.
shareI loved both and would put Tombstone only slightly above 3:10 to Yuma. The folks that hated it, I feel sorry for you.
shareI just watched the '07 remake of 3:10 and I gotta say, it's pretty good but not as good as TS.
I'll give 3:10 a 6.8/10
TS 8.5/10
I think what hurts 3:10 are the incredibly unrealistic gunfights. Sure, you could say TS has this too but they're a little more plausible. I'm almost willing to call the 3:10 shootouts "satire". The acting has to be 3:10's strongest attribute. Crowe and Bale work together fairly well in this movie. But beyond this, it just didn't work for me, still a solid film though. The 3:10 script is a bit ridiculous too but I guess it's plausible.
For the most part, TS is just too much fun to watch. The movie just never gets old. You could watch it every month and never get tired of it. Once was enough for 3:10.
Tombstone and Yuma are different locations, though can be compared; nonetheless, with a departure time for one location and the other doesn't, lacking such data makes a sufficient comparison problematic.
