favorite quote.

i subconsciously quoted this movie yesterday, and laughed like a hyena because i totally didn't realize i did it. this is one of my favorite parts of the movie-where blinkin is up on the lookout platform and robin walks up and says "hey blinkin, what ya up to?"

and blinkin says "guessing...i GUESS there's no one coming....."

for some reason that whole scenario is so damn funny to me.

most of my favorites include blinkin, probably because the fact that he's blind mixed with the fact that he doesn't seem to hear too well create some funny situations.

other favorites:

achoo: i'm achoo.
blinkin: A JEW!!??!

then there's the part where blinkin catches the arrow "i heard that coming a mile a way"
then robin says something and blinkin's like "excuse me? is someone talking?"

also, little john: blinkin, fix your boobs, you look like a bleedin' picasso!!

anyway, what are your favorite quotes from this hilarious movie?

reply

When Rottingham is on his horse and Robin cuts his saddle to make him and his saddle go upside-down underneath the horse.

Rottingham yells "I'll pay for this!" and Achoo nods his head in agreement.

When the guy stands up and says : "He split Robin's arrow in twain *spits*!"

And the look on his face and then everyone stands up and cheers. Hilarious.

And when the Latrine lady is like: "I have a likeness of him in my boudoir *thrusts back curtains to reveal a cutout board of Rottingham looking handsome*"

ROFL!

This movie always cracked me up. After reading all these quotes, I can't help but wish that Mel Brooks would another spoof. Maybe Gladiator or 300 would be nice.

All of my favorite lines have already been listed here but my favorite part was when Rabbi Tuckman introduces himself and he lifts his hat and his hair is attached to the brim of the hat. Just hilarious.

Robin: I'm game. How's it done?
Rabbi Tuck: It's a snap!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Always been my favorite. Of course I'm a girl, so I probably find more humor in it than the male proportion of this fanbase.

Little John: A toll is a toll. And a roll is a roll. And if we don't get no tolls, then we don't eat no rolls. *pause* I made that up.

Cracks me up every time.

Everything from Patrick Stewart. Him doing a Scottish accent (and thus a send-up of Sean Connery) was the best joke in the film

I'll pay for this! I mean, YOU'LL pay for this!

I hope your first child is a masculine child.

But seriously, the mole gag has to be one of the best in any Brooks comedy.
