Transrights means that movies like this, sadly, need a disclaimer.

Jokes like "I don't work with the boys because I used to be one" , followed by the phone being hung up are TRANSPHOBIC.

Then the scene where the boy freaks out because he sees Mrs. Doubtfire using the toilet standing up. Transwomen can use the bathroom anyway they want.

He should have simply been like 'oh, Mrs. Doubtfire has different plumming than I thought" and not given it a second thought. Instead he's seen as a pervert and threatened by the children.

I feel like this movie really hails from a different era and we are so much more enlightened now.

You can't tell because reality is often stranger than fiction.

Back in the old days, satire was obvious. Today, there's literally nothing, regardless of how idiotic, that some woke person won't say.

At my age, I *never* thought I'd live to see the day where a man can decide he's a woman and play women's sports AND all of this will be defended by people actually elected by the population.

Strange days.

I'd put an asterisk by that, which reads "put in place by the establishment" rather than "elected by the population".

As evident with the irrefutable proof that has surfaced, the people didn't elect these clown into office one iota.

The themes of this movie have been known to offend "them" lately and give the sads. It's why I watch it at least once a week and make sure everyone on social media knows how much I enjoy the film.
