shareNot that I'm trying to argue about there being a double standard, but I do can't help but wonder if Hocus Pocus would be more horrifying if the Sandersons were men. They appear to have a certain preference towards what type of children they want, which are girls under the age of 10 like Dani and Emily. Maybe in my mind, the idea of grown women wanting to hurt children usually isn't taken as seriously as the other way around.
