As a kid this was the movie where THEY ATE HUMANS TO SURVIVE!!!

I remember my best friend first telling me about it and hyping it up because of it...and it was a true story...etc...don't think I would have ever seen this at the age of 11 had my friend not got me so hyped up for it.

Thanks I think I want to look into that.

I can't believe how many recent posts there are on this film, so many in under a year.

I had to respond to this post because me and my sister rented this from blockbuster in the mid 90s and it ABSOLUTELY WAS the film where they ate humans to survive!

I've not seen it since back then, when I was about 10 years old. having seen the activity on this board though I think I may have to watch it again!

I'm at the scene where Billy just got into the tub and he still has his whitey tighties on and told Layla she can come in BUT DONT LOOK

This movie, in a sense, anticipated Reality Bites, where Laney would see Troy in much less than that

I didn't like ben Stiller in reality bites. He was too serious...glad he found his nitch in goofball comedic roles. His acting in heavyweights the following year. That was the beginning of his stardom.

Check out his work in Next Of Kin

I will check that out.

There are many posts about this movie because a remake was just released a few months ago. Well, not a remake, actually a retelling of the same story.
