Okay it may have a rubbish plot, bad acting, even worse costumes and special effects. BUT IT IS NOT BLAND, it is funny and at times well directed. The hand grabbing Joshua from the floor, the moment in Grampa Seth's story where Joshua narrates from inside the story. And some of the best lines ever delivered in the hostory of horror movies.

People who say this is the worst movie ever obviously don't watch many movies. I can think of so many movies, in the horror genre alone, that beat Troll 2 at being awful. House Of The Dead, Death Tunnel, and Thankskilling immediately spring to mind.

That being said - I love Troll 2!

I've seen several worse, and not just in the horror genre. This MAY have the worst dialogue of any film I've seen, but it has some level of competence, and it's entertaining. Plus, when I hear the vegetarian goblin queen shriek "The cholesterol!" at the sight of bologna, I can't think that all the film's humor is unintentional.

I feel like this entire thread is full of people that are defending the movie that snuck into my room and raped me as a child.

Clever things make people feel stupid and unexpected things make them feel scared

I don't think it was the worst movie ever, either. Certainly the acting and other elements were lame, but it told its story reasonably well. It wasn't like such classic "good bad" movies as "Manos: Hands of Fate" and "The Room" which made absolutely no sense at all.

Nowhere near the worse.

You can't sit through a truly bad film.

Troll 2 is bad in an interesting and entertaining way... and strangely enough, can be viewed more than once. It's too odd a film to be ignored.

It's nowhere near the worst movie ever made, technically. I feel sorry for the kid who played Joshua. He wasn't a bad kid actor. In fact, in some scenes he was quite good.

It does however have the most ridiculous and outlandish plot in movie history, which is the main strength of Troll 2.

It is not the worst movie but really bad. The worst movie award goes to Nothing But Trouble and it isn't close.

Try Jaws: The Revenge. Nothing is good about that film. Not even Michael Caine.
