How is this not out on dvd?

At least here in the U.S., anyway? This is such a fun movie with a great ensemble (and let's face it: Ken and Emma are so adorable together, aren't they?) and where is it? True, its been a while since I've seen it, but when I looked into adding it into my collection and found I really couldn't (my dvd player won't do other regions, I'm pretty sure) I was just so bummed. C'mon, Ken! Release this on dvd in The States with some good extras. It looks like it must have been fun to work on, and it seems like there'd be something to that effect to put on the disc.
Sorry, just a little rant.

I was happy to find it available at Amazon. I searched for it a couple times/year.

Yep, I got it from there a few months ago, myself!

I had never heard of this film until about an hour ago when I bought it in a charity shop for £2...looking forward to watching it.

It was on LOGO this morning - total mutilation. "The Way You Look Tonight" was edited out of the airing, and the confrontational scene between Roger and Mary (Hugh Laurie and Imelda Staunton) was sharply edited. The scene was there but not in its entirety.

I am happy that I have the dvd because if this had been my first viewing of the film I would have been disappointed. Either air it correctly or don't air it at all. I realize the commercials cut in but "TWYLT" is a highlight of the film.

They cit TWYLT and chopped up the Roger/Mary scene? What possible reason could they give for that?

Go take a step outside - see what’s shaking in the real world.

Commercial greed - fitting this film into a two hour time slot with commercials. It is a good thing that I had enough time on the dvr as to not to eliminate another program.

I bought the dvd so that I don't have to contend with cable for airing of this excellent movie. Next time, I won't even bother if I know it is on a station that has commercial breaks, because it will be a big letdown.

Maybe, and I say that very advisedly, because it sucked. Now hold on to that maybe, will you, will you hold if for a moment? You see, I saw this when it came out years ago and I was a big FAN of Ken and Em, even bigger fanage with Hugh and Steven - but this movie, now remember I said MAYBE (because it was so long ago) was terrible, to me, at THAT time. I remember a massive disappointment! It as a real artistic Hiroshima - and only that concrete chimney in the foreground saved me from really getting my ass burned.

Not that shocking really as it was in the stage when, as the joke goes: Ken and Em are at home and Em says to Ken "darling, where are you?" Ken: "In the Kitchen my dear!" Em "oh, can I be in it too!"
