Better than Desperado?
I thought it was a much better put together tale and I felt for the characters more in this one.
"You haven't got the feel of this at all, lad. Use all your voices. When I bellow, bellow back."

I like them both. This one has a rougher edge to it while the players in RR remake did a good job respecting this style yet adding their own twists.
This one had me from get go as I saw the initial bad guy's gold trimmed sunglasses. I found a pair moons ago Raybans and still wear them happily all over Manhattan. Seems to tick off some of the younger babes who sport super expensive white, pink, speckled frames of all kinds. They don't know whether they should mock or admire!
RR films are a treat. It's the ones that end up as 3rd gen or so on cable series that become just too thin. There is a point where doesn't pay to overshine the shine.
This may have better story but Desperado and OUATIM has better acting and action. EM is just kind of boring and slow, plus the all in spanish bugs me. I rather watch a movie then spend time trying to read in what they are saying. There should be two versions English and Spanish, and they should show one for whatever country it is shown in, instead of forcing us to watch and read captions, which ruins the whole movie to me.
If I wanted to read, then I will get a book. Combining reading and watching, is annoying as heck. Foreigner movies should be changed for the countries, not just adding text to read. Text is for credits, not for reading a movie. So I will take the later two movies over this one any day.
No more IMDB boards for me!
