How did Jonathan recognise Drac?

His Slash-Sirius-Black form was nothing like his decrepit Count?

reply

They looked very similar to me

reply

But your senses are more heightened than the standard human being. Hmmm, don't you only post when the sun is down?

reply

Yes, good observation. I have much more awareness than the OP and to me, it was very obvious that old man Dracula was the same person as the younger Dracula character. And yes, my posts do carry more weight and intelligence after sundown

reply

I suspect you are one of the undead.

reply

Fair point, “he’s grown young!” my ass, the two versions looked nothing alike, I mean we could quibble that one was a one-hundred year old version of the other, but certainly not an instant double take, that’s the same dude level of recognition.

reply

Because he had seen a portrait of him (or who he believed to be an ancestor) at Dracula Manor, made note of it in conversation and remembered it.

Good point! I didn't make the connection with the portrait!

reply

I think if someone drank your blood and kept you captive for weeks, you'd likely be a bit more likely to recognise them.
