how about Tony Montana (Al Pacino) in Scarface?

reply

Don't forget about Gary Oldman's performance as Norman Stansfield in the Professional(Leon). He wasn't the raging psycho that Tony Montana was, but he was creepy and pretty violent. Not to mention one of the best death scenes I can remember.

Matt Dillon in Drugstore Cowbow, Robert Downey Jr. in Less Than Zero, Heath Ledger in Candy, definitely diCaprio in Basketball Diaries like somebody already said, Jared Leto in Requiem For A Dream, main dude in movie Rush, Al Pacino in Panic in Needle Park. Can you tell I like drug movies lol? Also like time travel and espionage movies. Weird.

a few more: agree with someone else who said Oldman is Sid & Nancy, James Woods in "Another Day in Paradise", Ben Stiller in Permanent Midnight (classic sort of unknown movie!), Tupac & Tim Roth ruled in Gridlock'd as junkies, don't know his name but in Rules of Attraction some kid in his dorm who the dude from dawson's creek is trying to collect money owed from--trust me, you'll love the scene if you're reading this topic; awesome movie too!
