shareDk17111's question is a good one. Either way, whether he gave them a name/information or not, his part to play in Memphis was over. If his information led to the successful rescue of Catherine Martin he would be rewarded later with a transfer, view, perks, etc. But why did he have to spend the night in that historic courthouse in that temporary cage which is far less secure than his cell at the Baltimore facility?
shareYou can’t just take off like a helicopter and go wherever, a plane needs to schedule a flight time/path, plus Chiltern and the other passengers and crew need to eat and sleep - it was clearly late. Hell, even Lecter needs a meal and a piss, you can’t keep a guy in a straight jacket and hockey mask for hours and hours.
