I could see why you would think that... But no, they were similar in appearance (according to her) but as you could tell, she was missing a few marbles... and as stated above, he had no idea what she was talking about.

Nice thought, but I don't think so because of the way Mathew acted and reacted throughout the whole movie. He has no reason to deny who he is even if he was Roy Cobb.

Quigley told Cora that before he would share his bed with anyone, she had to know who she was with. THAT'S why she said, "Matthew Quigley." To show him she knew who he was.
