cant get enough of it
they dont make em like this anymore
all that cgi stuff
what a movie
Totally agree. Movies now lacks creativity and realism. Everything is so PC.
shareYep, Point Break is a guilty pleasure....and a great fun movie.
Nowadays.....Utah would be played by Kristen Stewart....Bodhi would be played by Gabriel Union.....Papis would be played by Taraji P.Henson.....and the dead presidents would be: Elliot Page, Aquafina, Daniel Kaluuya, and Zoe Kravitz.
Actually, they did remake it a couple of years ago, with two good-looking white guys as the lead.
I see the remake has already been completely forgotten.
I saw the remake. It was decent. My commentary was more pertaining to all the woke stuff that has happened since that time.
shareWhat "woke" stuff? What the hell are you talking about? Didn't you pay attention to Bodhi's words in the original Point Break? He justifies robbing banks to let people know they are still free and "aint it wild?!" an FBI helping him with a bank robbery. In today's BS terms you nitzes would call that "woke" because it's against The Man, against the system.
shareI haven't forgotten the remake, it was just a pity it was made as a "remake". It was a decent movie on its own right but they should have never called it Point Break.

Why do you dillweeds have to ruin everything by bringing politics into it?
Are you not paying attention? They made a new Point Break a few years ago. It wasn't a bad movie it was just a big mistake their calling it Point Break because it was no remake and there is nothing PC about it.
You can argue the original Point Break was "PC" because the food at the road side stand was all at normal prices and they used Lori Petti instead of a more appealing woman. Now food trucks want as much as or more than restaurants. What's the point?
The people ‘bringing politics into it’ are the fruitcakes in Hollywood - who now cram their movies with endless cringe woke messaging.
