Would hardcore christians
find this movie blashpemous?
shareI don't see why they would. Why would a film that treated the concepts of heaven and hell as if they were genuine be seen as blasphemous?
And anyway, it's only meant as a fun comedy film. I don't see what there is to take seriously, no matter what your religious beliefs. You'd have to take offense quite easily to be offended by this film.
I would think only the REALLY HARDCORE ones would go that far. I've seen a few of these websites over the years, people on message boards have linked to them, of some of these really fundamentalist groups that put out What Not To Watch lists for whoever shares their values. Listing off various films and bands/songs they find fault in. Some of those things are just hilarious, I saw one that was so strict in their criteria that even the film Explorers (1985), which is a PG film, was deemed inappropriate because it supposedly encouraged children to break the law and because it depicted lifeforms the Bible says don't exist. So the overly hardcore ones seem to find fault in anything that isn't just Biblical in nature, and if it shows aliens, it's blasphemous to them. But that's not the average Christian I don't think. I'd bet the average Christian didn't find Star Wars blasphemous, just based on the box office totals.

You would think it would scare them as it does me
shareLuckily we live in a world that cares less and less what hardcore Christians think.
shareSeems a rather intolerant question to ask. Different people have different views on different movies. If they didn't imdb boards probably wouldn't exist.
shareWell, it wasn't good that they beat up people to get outfits. lol. That's really the only bad part.
