Rocky should have fought an Iranian In Iran for the title instead of a street fight with Tommy Gunn. Iron Sheik would have been perfect
shareIt’s not that bad. I can see why most Rocky fans hate it, it’s not in the same league as the first 4, but it’s got a good street fight and some funny lines eg “no guys this ain’t no pie eating contest” lol.
shareThey should have had him fight the Predator. That would have been so awesome and it would have made sense as Rocky IV established that this is a sci fi franchise.
shareI'd disagree. I'd take Rocky 5 over part 4, Creed 2 and 3.
Rocky 5 has some great lines:
"He doesn't have your heart.
All those fighters you beat, you beat 'em
with heart, not muscle. Mickey knew that."
"Hey, you knocked him down.
Why don't you try knocking me down now?"
But The Iron Sheik could have threatened to put Rocky in the camel clutch. Or tried to hit him with his pointed sharp boots
shareRocky V is so unfairly hated. It’s like the Nickelback of the Rocky series, haha. It’s just cool to hate for some reason. I love all of the Rocky movies, but I think V is more well made from a filmmaking perspective than III or IV. 🤷🏻♂️
shareNot part 4. But I'll take Rocky 5 over Creed 2 and especially Creed III. Creed III was a travesty.
