in a movie with great actors lawrence fisbourne stole this movie

Stole every scene and was more bummed out when he died than walken died. Everyone is amazing but its the sheer energy arrogance obnoxiosness that his character exudes in every scene that makes him the highlight of this amazing movie. Even dying he was still laughing and trying to piss caruso off. Great movie, amazing cast but fisbourne steals the show and it's probably the main reason he actually had a career.

Laurence Fishburne overacted in this movie.. so over the top, and the clothes made him seem buffoonish. he didn't resemble a NYC thug/gangster of the late 80's early 90's. still a classic movie though.

I agree with all but five words of your post. Can you guess which five?

Paul Calderon was the one that stole it. Walken was great too.

From the April 1994 issue of Playboy...

What's your favorite Chris Walken story that will explain him to the rest of us?

LF: Walken and I went to see some dailies – the scene where I go to his hotel and we meet each other, and there's that sort of standoff. When it was over, Chris came up to me and said, “You know, you really worked hard for your money.” And he kissed me and walked out.

Lawrence is a favorite of mine. I love him and think he should've had a much bigger career than he did

That being said he was very over the top in this movie. I feel Walken aside, everyone in this movie was very loud and over the top.

Fishburne had/has a pretty damn big career. Majority of actors who aren't famous would kill fur his career.

No doubt. However, after the Matrix trilogy it seems like Hollywood kind for forgot about him. It happens but kind of a shame
