Why didn't Kate get upset with Frank when he wouldn't let Kevin and Fuller watch the movie?

If I were Kate I would tell him to watch a movie that everyone can watch.

You're a little obsessed with this movie aren't you? And you post quite strange observations about the movie as if they were real characters. Are you on the spectrum by any chance?

I'm the same way! I have a mild form of Asperger's Syndrome, and when I watch movies or TV shows, I look at it from the same way. What I've always wondered is how come Buzz never gets in trouble but Kevin does? And why do they let Frank talk that way to Kevin? I just assumed it's because Buzz is the favorite, but Frank is the one that boggles me most.

Because whatever Kevin did or complained about was wrong in his family's eyes.

Because Uncle Frank is difficult and since she had to spend the whole holiday with him it was best to not get into controversy with him. Besides it was a busy day and she didn’t need Kevin’s complaints about movies.

Kevin pointed out the big kids got to but he didn't and the way Kate replied implied Frank was watching something very adult and if Frank said no, it's as much an admission that it's porn.
