shareI prefer Die Hard with a Vengeance. Its a natural sequel to the first one and it even pretends Die Hard 2 never happened. I have the first and third movie in my collection, but not the rest.
shareYes metoo .. like you say DH3 acts like 2 never happened almost like what Halloween 2018 or Terminator Dark Fate did .. its like if you're a DH3 fan and dislike 2 for being too close to DH1 you can view it as the true real sequel continuing the Gruber saga, in the summer in a sprawling environment with McClane previously only dealt with and known for the Nakatomi incident with no 'this terrorist shit happens every Xmas in an enclosed area' .. or if you more of a DH2 fan and no like 3 and the summer NYC setting and think its silly theres another Gruber you can consider 2 as the real sequel as its set xmas again , has Bonnie, Al, Thornberg
