I miss the 80's

Kids could hitchhike across the country and no one really bats an eye. Today if a kid goes to the park by themselves CPS is called.

The way things are today for kids is BS. I'm not thrilled about getting old, but I'm so glad I was kid in the late '50s and '60s. So much freedom!

There was a lot of magic to movies that took place during that decade. There were premises and plots that wouldn't work now, but back then we ate it up. Stuff like this, Harry & The Hendersons, Short Circuit, etc. Cheesy, but so much heart.
