Why this movie is better than the Godfather.

Seeing the Godfather at the top of the IMDB list, I began to think of movies which I would consider superior. Now I'm not saying No Holds Barred is the greatest movie of all time (although it certainly deserves consideration for that title), but it is definetly better than the godfather. The reasons are simple.
Better direction.
Better script.
Better cinematography.
Better acting.
I repeat, BETTER ACTING. Hogan can't get enough credit for this film, and his suporting cast, led by Tiny Lister, are simply unbelievable.
Who agree's with me?

I agree with everything Psycho wrote in his original post. It's a shame this man has been gone from IMDb for such a long time because his posts are what this site is all about.

People giving recognition to great movies and great actors and as we all know, Hulk Hogan is one of the all time greats of acting.

I gave up posting on this thread (and IMDb in general) when I saw that some of the most convincing and eloquent pro-NHB replies were mysteriously being "deleted by an Administrator". It became clear to me that IMDb was yielding to pressure from Paramount (who own the distribution rights to godfather) to censor some of the painful truths that were being exposed in this thread. Moreover, I strongly suspect that most of the godfather proponents replying in this thread are in fact Paramount execs cowering behind phony IMDb user accounts. How else to explain their irrational refusal to accept even the most self-evident facts (i.e. Hogan > Brando, Lister > Pacino, etc ..).

It seems pointless to continue this debate under the circumstances.

I wouldn't give up yet. As a film student I was examining the five act structure of "The Godfather" and to my surprise I found out that "No Hold Barred" has eight (that's right, EIGHT) acts. Clearly the more acts a movie has, the better. No Hold Barred is also a better lit film when compared to the dimly yet, yucky looking Godfather. The colorful outfits, like Hogan's pink tight top and Kurt Fuller's rainbow colored helicopter, probably helped in this aspect. More proof that this film is superior to a film simplistically named "The Godfather".

Never give up, Psycho!

No Holds Barred needs it's champion.

I never look down on anyone unless I'm helping them up.
