mine too. An angry Bond is the best Bond.

Christopher Nolan has great taste.

reply

He's excellent and underrated. (Dalton as Bond).

reply

i like Dalton as well, and think he pulled off the dry humor nicely

reply

The man has great taste, Dalton was my favourite as well, made two great films, wish he did one or two more

reply

I think Dalton was too dull and stuffy. And the 2 films he was in had a cheap look to them.

People WANT to like Dalton’s Bond....because they like the idea of a serious JB. But they mistake his stuffiness with intensity, and he gets too much credit.

If you want serious/intense Bond, Daniel Craig is your man, hands down.

reply

Bullshit. Craig was amazing in Casino Royale but all his films after we’re mediocre/terrible, and his ending was an atrociously egotistical, Bond-hating pile of shit.

Dalton wins hands down for best portrayal of Bond, and The Living Daylights is a masterpiece.

reply

Daniel Craig's performance in Casino Royale is superb but after that? Not so much. He looks like he's embarrassed to be in a Bond film a lot of the time, and (not his fault) Bond falling out with his superiors and quitting is very tiresome in the Craig era. There's no way I could watch a few of his films in a binge watch. Too many scenes feel the same.

reply

Same. Also my fave Bond. Love to see Dalton respond to that. So wish we got Dalton in GoldenEye because that was meant to be his third one.

reply

Same here. Glad to see Nolan throw some praise Dalton’s way. Guy was fucking amazing as Bond. Living Daylights = best Bond film.

reply

I was never a fan of this film but I did like Dalton.
