How different and perhaps darker would this film have been if Tim Curry had been selected to play The Joker?

It’s a shame we never got to see Curry as The Joker, dude was born to play that role.

HE PLAYED THE ROLE...ATE A BUNCH OF KIDS AND FARTED IN SOME BALLOONS.

Tim Curry would have been a brilliant Joker, Brad Dourif would have been very interesting too.

I don't think it would have worked. Maybe in the Schumacher films.
