What is your favourite moment in the movie?

Well, for me there's many.I love the scene where she goes down in that elavator and falls upon the leaves.I also like the way the leaves get sucked into that desk.I also love it when those skulls hatch from those eggs.Truly eerie and perceptive.

something monstrous crammed down into
human flesh"

I really liked how the Catapiller came to be. It was unexpected and awesomely done.

I agree with you on the caterpillar. It's just another sock, made creepy with fake eyes and teeth, and all of a sudden he curls up on the 'mushroom' and there's just the sudden realization "Oh. It's the caterpillar!"
Very unexpected, very awesome.
The way he "sleeps" is insanely creepy though.

I'd have to say the sequence near the end, where all the characters star manifesting themselves inside her mind when the Queen demands her head off...
That and the Drink Me ink bottle involving her transforming into the doll..

I like the rabbit eating the saw dust and the mad hatter and the hare just because they are all very disturbing looking.

Her trapped in the dollhouse after growing too large to escape, the elevator ride (very ominous), and finally, busting out of the "shell" she is trapped in when locked in the closet.

I love the Mad Tea Party. Especially the hare whose a dilapitated stuffed animal in a wheelchair. And i like how the mad Hatter's a big nutcracker and everytime he drinks tea it comes out of his back (normally where the cracked nuts would be).

I like the scene in the room where socks go in and out of little holes in the floor.

I also like when she falls in some sort of concrete substance and is trapped in a life-size doll shell and then finally breaks out.

I always liked the worn-down steps (and the worn look of all the rooms). It's not really a scene, but I liked them anyhow.

I love the sock scene where her own socks begin to crawl off her feet. The worn, antique look of everything adds to the curiosity of the whole movie as well.
