Kevin Costner = Michael Keaton
First off love this movie. It holds up very well. The other day I was reading an article by Bill Simmons on Grantland about how Kevin Costner tok over the roles that should have went to Michael Keaton in the late 80's and this is definately one of them. Keaton instead wanted to get serious and took Batman and other darker movies to get away from his comedy roots. He would have been very get as Crash Davis with his wise ass attitude. Not sayign that Costner is not really good in this movie. But I wonder where Keaton would be now if he had stayed on the comedy path? Anyway just a very fun movie and enjoy it whenever I come across it on tv
