Susan Sarandon ruined this movie

I like minor league baseball so I wanted to see a good minor league baseball movie where I get to know a lot about the players. I did not get that with this movie what I got was old bag Susan Sarandon running around being annoying in almost every scene fighting over 2 guys. I didn't get to know enough about all the other players on the team. Instead the movie focuses way too much on baseball groupie whores. Maybe women want to see this but as a guy I want to see more baseball and less about the sex. Its also never explained why a 20 yr old baseball player is so interested in screwing a 40 yr old woman. I never understood why Nuke was so infatuated with Annie. Why would he lust after an average looking older woman when he could have all the hot younger sluts like the one he had in the locker room at the beginning. This all should have been minimized anyway because like I said I wanted to see more of the baseball and less sex stuff.

Have to agree on some points, decided to check a baseball movie, cause I know nothing about the sport, but got some weird love triangle, where baseball groupie whores were the main focus. And only then I realized that this film might be a chick-flick. Perhaps this wasn't the sports movie I was looking for.

Let's hope that by 2014...whoops, 2015 now, you've had a chance to be with an "older woman". Because, I tell you what, TrickGum, young chicks with the perfect bodies can be very fun. But if I had the choice between a 23 year old 9 in the looks department, and a 40 year old 7-8 in the looks department, I'd go with the older woman...every...single... time.

Heaven is being in bed with a beautiful, more mature woman. Trust me on this.

And Susan Sarandon was sexy as hell in this film.

I met Annie (her name in real life was Nancy) at a late season Durham Bulls game in 1981. I was 28 and she was 36 and smokin' hot. Great legs and large melon shaped breasts. She had auburn hair with just a few freckles, a beautiful ginger she was. That woman opened my eyes to the wonderfulness of being with an experienced woman. We dated through the winter and then just as spring training started she suddenly disappeared from my life. Apparently the new prospects were about to hit town and she needed to start scouting out her next young trainee.

You poor puppy. You obviously don't know about women in their 40's. Sorry, little guy, you can't learn everything there is to know from porn sites, bar buddies and brief encounter with Mary Lou in the back of your Dad's Buick. Read a little DH Lawrence for starters. Sarandon was lightly displaying a level of sexiness you have not yet had the pleasure of knowing; however Crash got it. Do you think Crash was interested in Annie simply because she was "age appropriate." Oh please.
