Does anyone else cry every time?

I've seen it a million and a half times, but I cry every time I watch it.

I`m sorry for my lack of manners, but I`m not used to escorting men.

I think I ran out of tears, but when I watch it, I still muster up some more tears. One of my favorite movies.

I cried the first time I saw it. But now just a lump on my throat everytime I watch it. The scene where CC enters the hospital room and Hilary says "I waited for you", oh the agony oh waiting for CC in her condition, and CC replied "I'm here now". Also the scene where CC hugs Victoria, the last reminder of her bestfriend Hilary thru her daughter.

Thanks for the spoilers... Now I can't watch this classic without crying face poppping into my mind :/

Every time I watch it. There are so many levels to that movie that draw tears. Having a best friend since we were six. Losing a mother when I was not yet an adult. Having had young children myself when I first saw it and thinking of them as I thought of the loss my mother. Going through the ups and downs of life with my best friend. Marriage, children, parental loses. All of it is poignant.

"You took away your friendship without even discussing it with me."

Yep, that one does it right there.

I'm bawling just reading this!

When my sister first saw it, she was traumatized by seeing Victoria sitting all alone after the funeral. It made her realize that we could lose one of our parents at anytime.

Since Wind Beneath My Wings was played at my grandmother's funeral, I can't help but bawl at it now.

reply

Yes. Every time.

This movie & Ordinary People reduces me to tears.
