I've seen it a million and a half times, but I cry every time I watch it.

Same here. But I don't just cry. I bawl, I weep. By the end my tears could literally fill a lake maybe an ocean. Every time I watch either Beaches or Steel Magnolias I am just breaking apart the moment it starts playing. Hell. Long after the movie is over I still break down just thinking about the movie.

I'm not obsessed with movies. It's a passion.

Everytime. Espcially as this is mine and my oldest friends film, I was always CC and she was Hilary. The bit that always gets me is

"Be sure to keep in touch CC ok?"
"Well sure, we're friends arent we?"

and then it fades to the snap shots of them, then black and white.

"What, you don't like rice? Tell me Michael, how could a billion Chinese people be wrong?"

I cant even listen to that song without crying lol. Just hearing that and thinking of that scene. ugh. cant handle!

Cry every time, no, I literally bawl... I must have seen this film at least a hundred times. I insist that anyone who wants to be my friend see it... I bawl my eyes out every single time... I love this movie... I long for a friendship like this...
