Season 2 Episode 8 "Sweet Dreams"
Worst non-season 9 episode of the entire series? Absolutely no redeeming qualities whatsoever.

shareI hated that episode.
Its right up there with "Arsenic & Old Mom". What substance were the writers on when they wrote THAT one?!!
I'd say this cloud is Cumulo Nimbus.
Didn't he discover America?
Penfold, shush.
isn't Arsenic the one with Debbie Reynolds as Audrey II?
because her daughter CARRIE FISHER wrote that one.
Fishman took one for all nerds when she beat him up for the gold bikini remark.

I always skip that one!
shareYes. That and "PMS, I Love You" from season 3 are two episodes I tend to skip.
'Sweet Dreams', 'PMS, I Love You', and 'April Fool's Day' are among my least-favorite pre-S9 episodes because of the "fantasy" elements they incorporate. The show is at its best when rooted completely in realism.

I posted like a few years back, 2 or 3?, that I didn't like this episode and a whole bunch of people popped up saying they didn't. I didn't know why they did a singing episode when Roseanne can't sing.
Speaking of pre season 9 clunkers, I never liked the tornado episode. It felt like another show. I know the last time, also a few years ago, I said that everyone got mad. I don't like it.
Not a huge fan of the tornado episode either, but I always just sort of brush it off as it was early in the show and they were still experimenting/finding the right tone. It's just a little too melodramatic for my taste.
Anyone here mentions Hotel California dies before the first line clears his lips.
"can't sing"? Dude, she put out an album several years back and has sung for other stuff, so basing your OPINION of "can't sing" based off the INTENTIONALLY OFF KEY baseball anthem where she was trying to be funny, but it backfired, is pure BS.

I'm not basing it on that. She was out sung by most of the cast. She did a sort of talk singing. It wasn't good imo.
shareI hate it, but the completionist in me can never just skip it. I have to watch it. In fact, I watched it a few nights back (decided to re-watch the series again for the first time in years). Pretty sure I fell asleep half-way through but IT STILL COUNTS!

I always skip that one and "Somebody Stole My Gal".
