Best Line?

'Go get your scag and let's go.' -Watts. Best line in the film!!

Great flick, loved it when I was 14 when it came out and still love it watching it today on one of the movie channels. Elias Koteas is a great bonus in this film. Yes the characters all look older than teenagers, but most films (and tv!) have always been like that. Remember Luke Perry and Ian Ziering and the character Andrea in 90210.. I remember being a senior in high school and luke perry looked 30 to me. I also loved Craig Sheffer when this came out.. as I had been in love with him since Fire With Fire. SIGH... teenage angst in the 80s.. gotta love it. Good memories!!

I think it's safe to say that this party is about to become a historical fact.

I can't believe no one quoted the best line from Duncan's speech, the best moment of the movie:

"I'm here to wipe the floor with your ass, and you know it, and everybody knows it, and you deserve it."

I cheered. (Music was great in that scene, too.)

The whole script is brilliant in my opinion. Edgy and full of memorable lines.

"Then I'm 19, then I'm 20. When does my like belong to me?"

Oh, and the trailer is brilliant too - all the best lines and great music thrown in. They don't make 'em like this any more!

A lot of good dialogues in this film.

As I am currently watching this, the bit starting the credits. I like Keith's line "You look good wearing my future." Cocky and sweet haha.

There's so many in this movie that are complete gems. Though I'm surprised that this one hasn't shown up. The bold/italic words go to the the quote I'm referring to as not being posted here yet, but added the convo for jogging the memory.

Keith has just gotten home from the garage.

Cindy: Hi ugly.

Mom: Hi honey, how was work? You still haven't told me when you're gonna cut your hair.

Keith: I got it cut mom.

Mom: continues to ask questions but not looking up from from her writing desk.

Cindy:Mommmmm, you're flapping your lips in vain. Keith's gone.

Then there's the classic response of Keith's sister, Laura, when she screams upon seeing her dad at the classroom window.

"Remember how I said I'd rather be with someone for the wrong reasons than alone for the right ones? I'd rather be right. It's going to feel good to stand on my own. In your heart you wanted to give these to somebody else." Gets me every time. Then the waterworks come on! lol
